How to Correct or Change Passenger Names

Made a typo or need to correct a passenger name? You can update passenger details directly from the My Trip page — no need to contact support. Here's how it works and what to keep in mind. How do I change a passenger name? 1. Go to levitours.com/my-trip and log in with your last name and booking reference. 2. Find the passenger you want to update. 3. Click the Edit button (pencil icon) next to their name. 4. Update the first name, last name, or date of birth. 5. Click Save. The change takes effect immediately. You will see a confirmation message on the page. How many times can I edit a passenger's name? Each passenger can be edited a maximum of 2 times. The number of remaining edits is shown next to each passenger on the My Trip page. Once both edits have been used, no further changes can be made through My Trip. If you have used all your edits and still need a correction, please contact us at support@levitours.com. What are the name format rules? Passenger names must follow international airline standards (IATA): - English letters only (A–Z). Names are stored in uppercase. - Spaces, hyphens, and apostrophes are allowed (e.g. O'BRIEN, SANCHEZ-LOPEZ). - Each name must be between 2 and 50 characters. - Names must match your passport or travel document exactly. What happens to accented characters? Accented characters are automatically converted to their closest English equivalent. This is standard practice for airline ticketing. For example: - Müller → MULLER - José → JOSE - François → FRANCOIS - Søren → SOREN You do not need to convert accented characters yourself — the system handles this automatically during booking and when editing names. Can I change the date of birth? Yes, you can correct the date of birth from the My Trip page. However, the change is not allowed if it would change the passenger type: - Adult — 12 years or older at the time of departure - Child — 2 to 11 years old - Infant — under 2 years old For example, you cannot change an adult's date of birth to one that would make them a child on the departure date. This is because different passenger types have different fare rules. Why is the Edit button not showing? The Edit button may not appear if: - You have already used both available edits for that passenger. - The booking has been cancelled. Tips to avoid name errors - Always enter names exactly as they appear on the passport or travel document you will use for the trip. - Double-check spelling before completing your booking — especially for names with hyphens or multiple parts. - Remember that accented characters (é, ñ, ü, ø) are automatically converted to English letters, so the name on your ticket may look slightly different from your passport — this is normal and accepted by airlines. Quick summary: - Edit names on My Trip (levitours.com/my-trip) — up to 2 edits per passenger. - Names must use English letters (A–Z), spaces, hyphens, or apostrophes. - Accented characters are converted automatically. - Date of birth changes must not alter the passenger type. - Need help? Understanding the Booking Process: From Search to Confirmation

Booking a flight on Levitours is straightforward. This guide walks you through the entire process, from finding your flight to receiving your confirmation. The 5 steps of booking Every booking follows five clear steps, shown in the progress bar at the top of the page: 1. Search — Find flights that match your route, dates, and preferences. 2. Details — Enter passenger names, dates of birth, contact information, and optional extras like checked baggage and travel insurance. 3. Seats — Choose your seats on an interactive seat map (optional — you can skip this step). 4. Payment — Pay by credit card or bank transfer (save 3% with bank transfer). 5. Confirmed — Your booking is confirmed and a confirmation email is sent to you. Step 1: Search for flights Start by entering your departure and destination cities, travel dates, number of passengers, and preferred cabin class. You can search for one-way, round-trip, or multi-city itineraries. The search results show available flights with prices, airlines, duration, and number of stops. When you find a flight you like, click Book to begin your booking. Step 2: Passenger details Enter the following information for each passenger: - First name and last name — must match your passport or travel document exactly. Only English letters (A–Z) are accepted; accented characters are converted automatically. - Date of birth — used to determine passenger type (adult, child, or infant). You also provide contact details (email address and phone number) and can optionally add: - Checked baggage — select the number of bags per passenger. - Travel insurance — choose between Basic or Comprehensive protection, or no insurance. Before proceeding, you must accept the terms and conditions and confirm that all details are correct. Step 3: Seat selection (optional) An interactive seat map is displayed for each flight leg. You can pick specific seats for each passenger, or click Skip seat selection to proceed without choosing seats. Seat selection is free and included in your booking. You can also return to this step from the payment page if you change your mind. Step 4: Payment Choose your payment method: - Bank transfer — save 3% on the total price. You will see the bank details (IBAN, BIC, amount, reference) and can upload proof of your transfer. - Credit card — pay instantly with Visa or Mastercard. The payment page shows a full price breakdown (flight, baggage, insurance) and a live countdown timer showing how much time remains to complete your payment. Step 5: Booking confirmed After payment, you will see a confirmation page with your booking reference, flight details, and booking status. A confirmation email is sent to the email address you provided. From here, you can go to My Trip to manage your booking, download your invoice, or access your e-tickets when they become available. Is my price locked after I start booking? Yes. Once you submit your passenger details (Step 2), the flight price is locked for the duration of your booking. The price shown on the payment page is the price you pay — it will not change while your booking is active. What is the 24-hour payment window? After submitting your passenger details, you have 24 hours to complete your payment. A live countdown timer is displayed on the payment page. - If no payment or proof of bank transfer is received within 24 hours, the booking is automatically cancelled. - If you upload proof of a bank transfer, the 24-hour limit no longer applies — your booking stays active while we verify the payment (typically 1–3 working days). If your booking expires, you can always search for the same flight again and create a new booking. Please note that the price may differ on a new search, as airline prices are dynamic. What information do I need to have ready? To complete your booking smoothly, have the following ready: - Passport or travel document for each passenger (for names and dates of birth) - Email address and phone number for the lead contact - Payment method — credit card details or your banking app for bank transfer Quick summary: - 5 steps: Search → Details → Seats → Payment → Confirmed - Price is locked once you submit passenger details. - You have 24 hours to complete payment. - Seat selection is free and optional. - Save 3% by paying via bank transfer. - Need help? Submit a support request.

What Happens If My Booking Expires?

When you start a booking on Levitours, a 24-hour payment window begins. If payment is not completed in time, the booking expires automatically. Here's what that means and what you can do. How long do I have to complete my payment? You have 24 hours from the moment you submit your passenger details to complete your payment. A live countdown timer is displayed on the payment page so you always know how much time remains. What happens when the 24 hours run out? If no payment or proof of bank transfer is received within 24 hours: - Your booking is automatically cancelled. - Your selected seats and itinerary are released. - You will see a message: "The payment window has closed and your booking was automatically cancelled." Can an expired booking be recovered? No. Once a booking expires, it cannot be recovered or reactivated. The flight seats and price that were held for you are released back to the airline. However, you can always search for the same flight again and create a new booking. Please note that the price may differ, as airline prices change dynamically based on availability and demand. What if I'm paying by bank transfer? Bank transfers work differently because they take time to process: - You still need to act within the 24-hour window — but you only need to upload proof of your transfer (a screenshot or PDF), not wait for the money to arrive. - Once you upload proof, the 24-hour deadline no longer applies. Your booking stays active while we verify the payment. - Verification typically takes 1–3 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays). In short: make your transfer and upload proof within 24 hours, and your booking is safe. What if I paid by credit card but the payment failed? If your credit card payment was declined, the booking remains active — you still have time within the 24-hour window to try again with a different card or switch to bank transfer. The countdown continues from when you originally submitted your details, not from the failed payment attempt. How can I avoid my booking expiring? - Have your payment method ready before you start booking — credit card details or banking app for bank transfer. - Complete payment promptly after entering passenger details. The sooner you pay, the sooner your booking is confirmed. - If paying by bank transfer, upload your proof of payment as soon as possible — this extends your booking beyond the 24-hour window. - Watch the countdown timer on the payment page to track your remaining time. I didn't pay in time — what now? Don't worry. You can: 1. Go back to levitours.com and search for your flight again. 2. Create a new booking with the same details. 3. Complete payment within the new 24-hour window. The rebooking process is quick — your passenger details won't carry over, but entering them again only takes a few minutes. Quick summary: - You have 24 hours to pay or upload bank transfer proof. - Expired bookings are cancelled automatically and cannot be recovered. - Uploading bank transfer proof extends the deadline — your booking stays active during verification. - You can always rebook the same flight, though the price may change. - Need help? Submit a support request.

Flight Disruptions: Schedule Changes and What to Do

Flight disruptions — including schedule changes, delays, and cancellations — can happen for many reasons, from weather to airline operational issues. This guide explains what to do if your flight is affected and who to contact. How will I know if my flight is disrupted? If the airline changes your flight schedule, you will typically be notified by: - Email from us or the airline with updated flight details. - Updated information on your My Trip page at levitours.com/my-trip. We recommend checking your My Trip page regularly in the days before departure, especially if you receive any notification about a change. What types of disruptions can occur? - Schedule change — the airline moves your flight to a different time or date. This can range from a few minutes to several hours. - Flight cancellation — the airline cancels your flight entirely. You may be offered an alternative flight or a refund. - Delay — your flight departs later than originally scheduled. Short delays are common and usually resolved at the airport. - Route change — in rare cases, the airline may change the aircraft type, add a stopover, or alter the route. Should I contact Levitours or the airline? This depends on the situation: Contact Levitours first for: - Schedule changes or cancellations that you were notified about before the day of travel - Rebooking onto an alternative flight - Requesting a refund due to a disruption - Any questions about your booking or itinerary Contact the airline directly for: - Issues at the airport on the day of travel (check-in problems, boarding, gate changes) - Delays or cancellations announced at the airport - Lost or damaged baggage at arrival - Meal vouchers or hotel accommodation during long delays As your booking agent, we handle most pre-departure issues. The airline handles operational matters at the airport. What can I do if my flight is cancelled? If your flight is cancelled by the airline: 1. Check your email and My Trip for updated information or alternative options. 2. Contact us — we can help you rebook onto another flight or arrange a refund if the disruption makes your trip unfeasible. 3. Know your rights — for flights departing from an EU airport, you may be entitled to compensation under EU Regulation 261/2004. This can include rebooking, refund, and in some cases financial compensation depending on the distance and delay. What if the schedule change is minor? Minor changes (a few minutes to a couple of hours) are common in the airline industry. Your booking remains valid and no action is needed on your part. The updated times will be reflected on your My Trip page and in your e-tickets. What if the schedule change makes my trip unfeasible? If a major schedule change significantly affects your plans — for example, an overnight departure moved to the afternoon, or a connection that no longer works — contact us. Depending on the airline's policy, you may be eligible for: - Rebooking onto a different flight at no extra cost - Full refund of the affected flights Am I entitled to compensation for disruptions? Your rights depend on where your flight departs from and the airline: - EU flights — flights departing from an EU airport (or arriving at an EU airport on an EU airline) are covered by EU Regulation 261/2004. This regulation provides for rebooking, refunds, and compensation of up to €600 depending on the circumstances. - Non-EU flights — rights vary by country and airline. Check the airline's conditions of carriage for details. Compensation claims for EU261 should be directed to the airline, as they are responsible for the disruption and the payment of any compensation due. Tips for dealing with flight disruptions - Keep your contact details up to date — make sure the email and phone number on your booking are correct so you receive notifications promptly. - Check My Trip regularly before departure for any updates to your flight schedule. - Download your e-tickets early when they become available (typically 72 hours before departure). - Arrive at the airport on time even if you expect a delay — schedule changes can happen last minute. - Keep receipts for any expenses incurred due to a disruption (meals, transport, accommodation) — you may be able to claim these back from the airline. Quick summary: - Check My Trip and your email for disruption updates. - Contact Levitours for rebooking or refunds before departure. - Contact the airline for issues at the airport on the day of travel. - For EU departures, you may have rights under EU Regulation 261/2004. - Need help? Submit a support request.

Why can't I choose seats before payment?

We assign seats to every passenger on every leg — it just happens in two steps instead of one. Here's how it works and why. How seat selection works When you book a flight with Levitours, we automatically reserve seats for you from your cabin class. You don't have to do anything during checkout — every passenger gets a seat on every flight. Once your payment is confirmed, you can change those seats — free of charge — from your My Trip page. The "Change seats" button unlocks as soon as your payment lands, and you can pick any available seat on the map. Why not pick seats during checkout? Real seat assignments are made with the airline at the moment your ticket is issued — and the airline only issues your ticket once your payment is confirmed. If we let you choose seats before payment, we'd be storing a preference we couldn't guarantee: the airline could still assign you elsewhere when it creates the ticket. By waiting until your payment lands and then letting you pick, we make sure the seat you choose is the one you actually fly in. A few things worth knowing - Seat selection is free. Many airlines charge €5–15 per seat for advance selection. We include it for every passenger, on every leg. - We keep your group together by default. Passengers in the same booking are assigned adjacent seats whenever possible. If you'd prefer specific seats — together or apart — just pick them from My Trip. - You can change as often as you like, right up until online check-in opens (usually 24–48 hours before departure, depending on the airline). - Exit-row and extra-legroom seats are available where the airline allows. Airlines may apply their own age or fitness requirements at the gate for these. How to pick your seats 1. Complete your booking and submit your bank transfer. 2. Once we confirm your payment, open the My Trip link from your confirmation email. 3. Click Change seats. 4. Choose a seat for each passenger on every flight, then click Confirm. If you have any questions, our support team is happy to help.

No. Travel insurance can only be selected during the booking process. It cannot be added to an existing booking afterwards. If you need insurance, make sure to select it when entering your passenger details. When does coverage start? Coverage activates immediately upon booking confirmation. It applies regardless of whether you pay by credit card or bank transfer, and covers all paying passengers on the booking. Who provides the insurance? The insurance is provided in partnership with AXA and Allianz, two of Europe's leading insurance companies. How do I file a claim? 1. Contact support — email us with your booking reference and a description of the incident within 30 days. 2. Provide documentation — submit medical reports, police reports (for theft), airline delay confirmations, or receipts for expenses. 3. Claim review — the insurance partner reviews your claim within 10 business days. 4. Payment — approved claims are paid directly to your bank account within 5 business days. What is not covered? Common exclusions include: - Pre-existing medical conditions (within 180 days of booking) - Extreme or adventure sports (skiing, diving, skydiving, mountaineering) - Pregnancy-related claims after week 28 - Events known at booking time (announced strikes, existing travel advisories) - Travelling against medical advice - Passengers aged 70+ are excluded from medical coverage (cancellation coverage still applies) - Single item limit: €300 per item for baggage claims Which option should I choose? Basic Protection is a good choice if you want affordable cover for the most common risks — trip cancellation, flight delays, lost baggage, and medical emergencies. Comprehensive is recommended for longer trips, expensive itineraries, or when you want broader coverage including missed connections, medical repatriation, and personal liability up to €500,000. Quick summary: - Two tiers: Basic (€9/pax) and Comprehensive (€19/pax). - Insurance must be selected during booking — it cannot be added afterwards. - Coverage starts immediately upon confirmation. - Provided by AXA and Allianz. - Claims are processed within 10 business days. - Need help? Can I cancel airline tickets and get a full refund?

Yes — for all bookings made directly on our website, airline tickets are fully refundable and can be cancelled free of charge (no cancellation fees from Levitours) if you request the cancellation through our platform before your departure. Key details: - Free cancellation & full refund — If you decide to cancel your flight booking before the scheduled departure time, you can do so via your Levitours account or by contacting our support team. The full amount paid (including taxes and fees) will be refunded to your original payment method, with no cancellation charges applied by Levitours. - This applies to tickets booked and paid for on levitours.com — making it easier and more flexible for you to change plans without penalty, as long as the request is made in time. - Processing time — Refunds are initiated promptly, though the exact time it appears in your account depends on your bank or payment provider (typically 7–30 days). Important exceptions — No-show policy: - If you do not show up for your flight (no-show), the booking becomes non-cancellable and no refunds will be issued. This is standard across most airlines: once the flight departs without you on board, the ticket has no refund value. - Always cancel in advance if your plans change — even a last-minute cancellation before departure is eligible for a full refund under this policy. Why choose Levitours for your flights? Many travelers appreciate this flexibility, especially compared to non-refundable fares offered elsewhere. We highlight refundable options clearly during search and booking so you can travel with greater peace of mind. How to cancel: 1. Go to our website www.levitours.com. 2. Go to “My Bookings” or “My Trips”. 3. Select the flight booking and follow the cancellation prompts. 4. If needed, reach out to our support team for assistance — we're here 24/7.

Understanding Airport Codes and City Codes in Flight Search Results

When searching for flights, you will often see three-letter codes instead of full airport or city names. These are known as airport codes and city codes, and they are always shown in flight search results to keep information clear, compact, and consistent worldwide. What are airport codes? Airport codes are standardized three-letter codes used to identify individual airports. Each code refers to one specific airport and is used globally by airlines, airports, and booking systems. Examples of airport codes: - LHR – London Heathrow Airport - LGW – London Gatwick Airport - CDG – Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport - JFK – New York John F. Kennedy International Airport Airport codes appear on: - Flight search results - Tickets and boarding passes - Airport departure and arrival boards - Baggage tags They help avoid confusion, especially when airports have similar names. What are city codes? City codes represent an entire city rather than a single airport. They are mainly used when a city is served by multiple airports. A city code allows flight searches to include all airports serving that city, giving you more choice and flexibility. Examples of city codes: - LON – London (covers Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, and City Airport) - NYC – New York (covers JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark) - PAR – Paris (covers Charles de Gaulle and Orly) When you search using a city code, the results will still clearly show the exact airport code for each flight. Why are airport codes always shown in search results? Airport codes are always displayed because they: - Provide a clear and universal reference - Avoid language differences and spelling variations - Make results easier to read in compact layouts - Match exactly what appears on tickets and boarding passes This ensures consistency from search to travel. Why aren’t full airport names always shown? Flight search systems rely on airport codes because: - Codes are short and easy to recognize - They reduce the risk of selecting the wrong airport - They are the global aviation standard Often, the full airport or city name is shown next to the code, but the code itself remains the key identifier. What happens when a city has multiple airports? In cities like London, travelers can choose between several airports, each with its own airport code: - LHR – Heathrow - LGW – Gatwick - STN – Stansted - LTN – Luton - LCY – London City Your flight search results will always show the airport code so you know exactly where your flight departs from and arrives. Can I click on an airport code to see more details? Yes. In flight search results, you can click on the airport code to see more information about the airport, such as: - Full airport name - Location and city - Distance from the city center - Additional airport or terminal details This is especially helpful when comparing airports within the same city. How can I make sure I select the right airport? To choose correctly: - Always check the airport code shown next to each flight - Click on the airport code to review airport details - Pay special attention to airport codes for connecting flights Where else will I see airport and city codes? You will see airport and city codes throughout your journey, including: - Flight search results and booking confirmations - E-tickets and boarding passes - Airport information screens and signage In summary: Airport codes and city codes are standardized identifiers used worldwide in aviation. They are always shown in flight search results to ensure accuracy and clarity. With examples like LON for London and its multiple airports, understanding these codes—and clicking on them for more details—helps you confidently choose the right airport for your trip.

When Will I Receive My Airline Tickets?

In most cases, airline tickets are issued within 5 to 15 minutes after your booking is completed and payment is confirmed. Does the delivery time depend on the payment method? Yes, the timing can vary slightly depending on how you pay. - Credit or debit card: Tickets are usually issued within 5–15 minutes after payment confirmation. - Bank transfer: Tickets are issued as soon as the bank transfer is received and confirmed. This may take longer, depending on your bank’s processing time. Please note that your booking will remain active while we are waiting for your bank transfer. We will keep your booking active for 5 days to make sure we have enough time to receive your bank transfer. What will I receive by email? After ticket issuance, you will receive an email containing: - Your booking reference number - Confirmation of your flight details This email serves as proof that your booking is confirmed. Airline tickets are typically available directly on the airline’s official website. You can: - Visit the airline’s website - Enter your airline booking reference number and last name - Download or view your e-ticket In many cases, you can also use this reference to: - Select seats - Add baggage - Check in online What if I don’t receive my tickets within 15 minutes? If the delay persists, please contact us at anytime and we'll help you. Do I need to print my airline tickets? In most cases, printing is not required. You can: - Show your e-ticket on your phone - Use your booking reference number during check-in However, some travelers still prefer to keep a printed copy for reference.
