Why Do We Ask for Bank Transfers to a Personal Account?

At Levitours, we use a trusted, authorized intermediary to handle certain incoming bank transfers on behalf of the company. The person whose name appears in the payment instructions on www.levitours.com at the time of your booking acts as our official payment collector and representative. This is a legitimate arrangement where: - The person shown as recipient on your payment page is fully authorized by Levitours to receive funds for that booking. Authorization letter from Levitours's management team can be reviewed and downloaded here. - All payments received are immediately forwarded (same day or next business day) to our official company business account. - You will always receive an official invoice/receipt issued in the name of Levitours LTD (our registered legal entity), not the individual. - Your booking confirmation, PNR (Passenger Name Record), and e-ticket are issued directly under Levitours's name and can be verified independently with the airline. We chose this setup to streamline processing for specific payment types (e.g., certain international or SEPA transfers) while keeping administrative costs low — which helps us offer competitive prices to you. Please do not use our website name when making bank transfers from your bank account, or your payment might be rejected. Is this safe? It looks unusual compared to other agencies We completely understand why this might raise questions. Here's why our process is secure and different: - Funds do not stay in the personal account — they are transferred directly to our company account for full traceability. - We never ask for irreversible methods like Western Union, crypto, or gift cards — only standard bank transfers (with full details provided in advance). - You get full booking protection: verifiable PNR on the airline's official website, official documentation from us, and compliance with EU travel regulations.

Why Was My Credit Card Declined?

In nearly all cases, the decline comes from your card issuer (bank or provider), not Levitours. We use secure, standard payment gateways. Common reasons & quick fixes 1. Credit/debit limit reachedTicket total (incl. taxes/fees) exceeds available credit or daily limit.Fix: Check your balance/limits in your banking app. Pay down if needed, then retry. 2. Bank security flag (very common for travel)High-value, international, or "unusual" purchases like flights often trigger auto-holds.Fix: Look for a verification text/email/app push from your bank — approve it right away. No alert? Call the number on your card's back to confirm the charge. They usually clear it instantly. 3. Location or IP mismatchBooking from Europe (e.g., Belgium) for non-local flights, or using VPN, can look suspicious.Fix: Pre-notify your bank about travel purchases, or try without VPN. 4. Entry errorsWrong card number, expiry, CVV, name, or billing address (must match bank's records exactly).Fix: Double-check all card details. 5. Card restrictionsPrepaid, virtual, some debit/business cards, or issuer blocks on international/online travel. Please note that for security reasons, some cards/bank are not accepted by us.Fix: Pay via bank transfer (see below). 6. Temporary issuesGlitch, expired card, or account hold.Fix: Wait 5–10 min, clear cache/incognito mode, retry. Check card status with issuer. If your bank says everything's fine but it still fails, you can pay via bank transfer. Pay via Bank Transfer & Save 3% Bank transfer (SEPA/wire) is available directly on the checkout page. Save 3% instantly — we pass on the full credit card processing fee savings as a discount (applied automatically to your total). How to pay by bank transfer on checkout? 1. Proceed to checkout as usual after selecting your flights. 2. At payment step, scroll down to the Bank Transfer option. 3. Follow the on-screen instructions: You'll see our EU IBAN, account details, exact discounted amount, and a unique reference code. 4. Complete the transfer via your bank app/online banking (usually free/low-cost in SEPA zone). 5. Funds typically arrive in 1–2 business days (faster for instant SEPA in many cases) — we confirm receipt and will confirm your booking immediately. Need more help? How to Complete Your Bank Transfer Payment

Paying by bank transfer is easy and saves you 3% on your total booking price. Here's everything you need to know to complete your payment smoothly. How does bank transfer payment work? 1. Complete your booking on levitours.com and select Bank Transfer as your payment method. 2. You'll see your unique bank transfer details: IBAN, BIC, amount, and a 6-character payment description. 3. Transfer the exact amount using your banking app or online banking. 4. Upload proof of your transfer (screenshot or PDF) on the payment page. 5. We verify your payment within 15–30 minutes, and your booking is confirmed. What bank details will I need? After selecting bank transfer, the payment page displays all the details you need: - Recipient name — the name of the account holder - IBAN — International Bank Account Number (e.g. GB29 NWBK 6016 1331 9268 19) - BIC/SWIFT — the bank identifier code (e.g. NWBKGB2L) - Amount — the discounted total (original price minus 3%) - Payment description — a unique 6-character code for your booking (e.g. 482916) You can copy each field directly from the payment page to avoid typing errors. Where do I enter the payment description? Your payment page shows a unique 6-character code (e.g. 482916). This code is essential for us to match your payment to your booking — it acts as the purpose of payment. When making the transfer: - Enter only this 6-character code in the payment description field of your bank app — sometimes labelled purpose of payment, description, memo, or message. - Do not add your name, booking details, or any other text — just the 6-character code. - If your bank app also shows a separate "Reference" field, leave it empty. The code belongs in the description/purpose field, not in a structured reference field. If the code is missing, in the wrong field, or incorrect, verifying your payment may take longer. How do I upload proof of payment? After making the transfer, upload a screenshot or document as proof: - Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, WEBP, HEIC, or PDF - Maximum file size: 10 MB - You can drag and drop the file or click to browse Then click "I have completed the bank transfer" to submit. You'll receive a confirmation email at the address associated with your booking. How long does payment verification take? Our automated systems typically verify your payment within 15–30 minutes. Is there a time limit to complete my payment? Yes. You have 24 hours from the time you submit your booking to either make a payment or upload proof of your bank transfer. If no payment or proof is received within this window, the booking will be automatically cancelled. Quick reminders: - Transfer the exact amount shown on the payment page (including the 3% discount). - Enter only the 6-character code in the payment description — no other text. - Upload proof within 24 hours to keep your booking active. - Need help? Submit a support request.

When Will I Receive My Refund?

All refunds are processed within 30 calendar days. The 30-day period starts from the date the airline ticket is cancelled, regardless of: - The reason for the cancellation - Whether the cancellation was voluntary or involuntary - Whether the refund is linked to a compensation or service request Once the ticket is cancelled, the refund timeline begins. Does the refund timeline depend on the payment method? No. The refund timeline is the same for all payment methods. Refunds are processed within 30 calendar days whether you paid by: - Credit or debit card - Bank transfer When exactly does the 30-day refund period start? The 30 calendar days begin from the date the airline ticket is officially cancelled, or from the date a related request (such as compensation or a service adjustment) is approved and results in a cancellation. This applies regardless of the reason for cancellation. Why can refunds take up to 30 days? Refund processing may involve several steps, including: - Confirmation of ticket cancellation - Processing by the airline - Payment handling by banks or card issuers Because multiple parties may be involved, refunds are not always immediate. Will I be notified when my refund is processed? How to Download Your Invoice

An invoice is generated automatically for every booking on Levitours. You can view and download it as a PDF at any time while your booking is active. Where can I find my invoice? You can access your invoice from two places: - My Trip page — log in at levitours.com/my-trip and click "Download Invoice". - Payment page — the invoice link is also available during the payment step of your booking. The invoice opens as a PDF in a new browser tab. You can save it to your device or print it directly from there. What does the invoice include? Your invoice contains a complete summary of your booking: - Invoice number — a unique reference starting with "INV-" - Booking reference - Date issued - Passenger names and fare class (Economy, Business, etc.) - Flight details — routes, flight numbers, and travel dates - Price breakdown — base fare, any discounts, and total amount due - Payment status — "Paid" or "Unpaid" What does "Unpaid" mean on my invoice? If you paid by bank transfer, your invoice will initially show an "Unpaid" status. This is normal — it simply means we are waiting for your bank transfer to arrive and be verified. Once the payment is confirmed (typically 1–3 working days), the invoice status will automatically update to "Paid" and you will receive a confirmation email. Does the invoice show the bank transfer discount? Yes. If you chose bank transfer as your payment method, the invoice shows the 3% discounted total, clearly labelled as "Total (-3%)". Can I use the invoice for expense reporting? Yes. The invoice is a PDF document that includes all the details typically required for business expense reporting: invoice number, date, passenger names, flight details, and full price breakdown. You can save or print it directly from your browser. When is the invoice available? The invoice is available immediately after you submit your booking — even before payment is completed. This means you can download it during the payment step or at any time from My Trip. Can I get an updated invoice after payment? You don't need to request a new invoice. The same invoice URL automatically reflects the current payment status. If your invoice showed "Unpaid" when you first downloaded it, simply access it again after payment confirmation — it will now show "Paid". Quick summary: - Access your invoice from My Trip or the payment page. - It is a PDF document you can save or print. - Bank transfer bookings show "Unpaid" until the transfer is verified — then it updates to "Paid" automatically. - The invoice is available immediately after booking. - Need help? Submit a support request.

How Does Travel Insurance Work When Paying by Bank Transfer?

When you choose to pay by bank transfer, you can still benefit from travel insurance and purchase protection through your credit card issuer. Here's how it works. What is credit card travel insurance? Many credit card providers offer travel insurance and purchase protection as part of their cardholder benefits. This can cover trip cancellations, delays, lost baggage, and more — even if you don't pay for the booking directly with your credit card. How can I activate it when paying by bank transfer? During the payment step, you'll see an optional section called "Travel insurance & purchase protection". Simply: 1. Tick the checkbox to enable it 2. Select the passenger whose credit card you'd like to register from the dropdown 3. Enter the last 4 digits of the credit card That's all we need — no full card number, expiry date, or CVV is required. What happens next? Our team will use this information to register your booking with your card issuer's travel insurance programme. This is processed manually, so there's nothing else you need to do after submitting your payment proof. Is my card information safe? Absolutely. We only ask for the last 4 digits of your card number, which is not sensitive information. No charges will be made to your credit card — the actual payment is completed via bank transfer as usual. Is this optional? Yes, this is completely optional. If you prefer not to register your card details, simply leave the checkbox unticked and complete your bank transfer as normal.
